Importance-Performance Matrix Analysis effective variables on strengthening the culture of integrity in one of the governmental organization

Abstract
Context/Purpose: The present study was conducted to identify the variables affecting the strengthening of the culture of honesty from the point of view of experts and to analyze their importance-performance in one of the government organizations in the country.
Methodology:This research is functional and was done by descriptive-exploratory method and by using of Delphitechnique. Data gathering tools was a questionnaire included 166 variables which were defined based on theoretical literature about culture of integrity. The statistical population of the research was scientific and experimental experts of the organization (n=26), who have been selected from senior executives by  non-random sampling method.Data were analyzed using Shannon Entropy Technique and API Matrix.
Findings :In the entropy method,among all findicators"appraisal performance" was more important. Results showed 32 indicators were placed in the first, 37 indicators were placed in the second, 55 indicators were placed in the third and 39 indicators were placed in the fourth quarter of the IPA matrix. The most important indicators of the first quarter which are very important, but the organization's performance is weak in this area are: "performance evaluation" and "Leadership Commitment and Support from Integrity".
 Conclusion: The establishment of a performance appraisal system on the basis of integrity and strict integrity of organization managers constitutes a strengthening of the integrity in the organization.
