Designing a Strategic Change Management Model in the Open Innovation System and Collaborative Space of Knowledge-Based Companies

Abstract
Background & Purpose: Along with environmental uncertainties, the company's need for flexibility and change management increases. On the other hand, the collaborative atmosphere can be the basis for innovation in the company, which both require strategic change management in order to maintain the company's survival in the long term. Therefore, in this research, the design of the strategic change management model in the open innovation system and collaborative space of knowledge-based companies is discussed.
Methodology: The present research was conducted with the qualitative method of thematic analysis. This is applied research in terms of its purpose. The statistical population of the research included experts and elites in the field of strategic management and change management of knowledge-based companies. With the help of the interview protocol, in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with experts using a purposeful sampling method. After interviewing 15 experts, theoretical saturation was achieved and then the data were coded using MaxCuda software. Validation of the research was done based on Parker and Rafi's qualitative research criteria.
Findings: After data analysis, 101 open codes (initial concept), 25 basic themes, 17 organizing themes and 7 inclusive themes including strategic risk management of the organization, effective leadership, implementation of change management, knowledge-oriented, capital empowerment Humanity, collaborative culture building and business intelligence were identified.
Conclusion: Creating a cooperative atmosphere in the company provides the basis for the development of open innovation. The development of open innovation in the company increases the company's flexibility, agility and choices in critical and changing conditions. Strategic change management will result in a series of positive consequences for the company. Companies can develop open innovation and collaborative atmosphere in their companies by attracting and training supportive leaders, developing innovation, improving organizational learning, strengthening team unity and cohesion, attracting and employing creative and innovative human capital. Finally, realize strategic change management.
