The Model of Promoting Organizational Sustainability through the Application of the Mentoring Mechanism in the Development of Human Capital with a Mixed Approach

Abstract
Background & Purpose: Organizational sustainability is recognized as one of the most important strategic goals in organizations, and achieving it requires focusing on human capital development. In this regard, mentoring plays an important role as one of the efficient mechanisms for training and empowering employees. Then, this research has been done with the aim of designing a model to promote organizational sustainability through the use of mentoring mechanism in human capital development.
Methodology: This research is applied in terms of purpose and mixed research in terms of method. In the qualitative part, the theme analysis strategy was used, and in the quantitative part, the descriptive survey strategy was used. The statistical population of the research included academic experts and executive managers of the Social Security Organization, who were selected using snowball sampling and theoretical saturation, 15 people. In this research, a semi-structured interview tool was used to collect data. The statistical population of the quantitative part included 378 human resource development experts of the Social Security Organization, and 180 people were selected as a sample based on the sampling formula. The data collection tool included a researcher-made questionnaire.
Findings: Based on the background of the research as well as the conducted interviews, the dimensions, components and indicators of the human capital development model, educational leadership and organizational sustainability were identified. Based on the findings of the research, human capital development includes three inclusive concepts and 6 organizing concepts and 44 basic concepts, educational leadership includes three inclusive concepts and 7 organizing concepts and 27 basic concepts, and organizational sustainability includes two inclusive concepts and 6 organizing concepts and 54 basic concepts. quantitative data analysis indicated the appropriate fit of model and predicted relationships in the research model.
Conclusion: Mentoring, by creating a supportive environment and transferring knowledge, skills and organizational values, can lead to improving the performance of employees and enhancing their capabilities. This process not only helps to strengthen the productivity and efficiency of the organization, but also lays the foundation for the realization of long-term sustainability goals
