Quarterly Journal of Innovation Management in Defense Organizations is an scientific journal with the mission of developing and promoting the culture of innovation management, identifying issues, challenges and solutions in this field in defense organizations, helping to promote research and accelerating the flow of thought, production and dissemination of science and providing a suitable platform for the exchange of experiences and publication of the latest scientific achievements in the field of innovation management at the national and international levels, publishes authentic and original scientific articles in the field of innovation management. Submitted articles will be published after specialized review and with the approval of the editorial board.


This Quarterly is published by the Faculty of Management of Shahid Sattari Air University.


Respected professors and researchers, after registering on the journal website, are requested to prepare their articles based on the authors' guide section and send them to the journal. In this way, in-person or telephone contact with the journal office will not be necessary and all communications with respected authors and reviewers will be directed via the website.

This journal welcomes all genuine scientific articles in the accepted fields of the journal. References to update sources of information, systematic review of literature, use of innovative research methods and appropriate analysis and achieving new and innovative results are of great importance for the journal and accelerate the process of review for the submitted article.


Articles Types

Research Article: This type of article includes a research report based on data analysis. Therefore, it can be called an original article or a research article. The format of a research article used in various disciplines and studies includes the following: 1- Introduction 2- Theoretical literature 3- Methodology 4- Findings and 5- Discussion and Conclusion.

Review Article: A review article, while providing a comprehensive summary of research on a particular topic, analyzes the thought process in that topic. These types of articles are written at the request of the Quarterly by scientific authorities in the field of management. This type of article should review previous articles (research background) and identify, critique and analyze the dominant approach in them. The format of the review article includes the following; 1- Introduction 2- Thought trends (dominant views and approaches) 3- Critique and 4- Conclusion.

Short Paper: This type of article provides a brief overview of the original research data that the editors-in-chief believe is appealing to many researchers and motivates researchers to do additional research. This type of article is extremely short and research details should not be published in it. The editor's speech is an example of a short article.

Conceptual Paper: This type of article explains a question that simply cannot be answered. A conceptual question is one about which the actual information is not clear. The conceptual paper lacks data because its focus is on combining and presenting new relationships between structures. Therefore, the author's responsibility is to shape logical and complementary topics instead of experimental tests. The format of the conceptual paper includes the following: 1- Introduction 2- Theoretical literature 3- Methodology 4- Findings 5- Discussion and Conclusion.
