Designing a Corporate Entrepreneurship Model Based on Information Technology in Iran's Public Organizations

Abstract
Background & Purpose: Corporate entrepreneurship is a strategic strategy for public organizations. High levels of organizational entrepreneurship activities are achieved when the aforementioned organizations successfully use their information technologies. Therefore, in this research, the design of organizational entrepreneurship model based on information technology in public organizations in Iran is discussed.
Methodology: In terms of the type of use, this study is an applied research and a mixed method (qualitative-quantitative) has been used in it. In the qualitative part, semi-structured interviews were used with 18 managers and vice-presidents of the student affairs organization and government managers, academic faculty professors of entrepreneurship and management. By analyzing the data obtained from the interviews using the method of thematic analysis, the pattern of organizational entrepreneurship based on information technology in public organizations of Iran was identified. This model was tested in the quantitative section using the structural-interpretive modeling method.
Findings: The findings show that components such as environmental information and communication technology as the most influential components in the research model have a direct effect on the entrepreneurial leadership style and are considered causal components. and the two mentioned components influence the agile organizational structure. Based on the research model, it was shown that the development of employee training and knowledge and the empowerment of employees who are influenced by the agile organizational structure component as a mediating component lead to the improvement of employees' performance and in Finally, corporate entrepreneurship is achieved.
Conclusion: Entrepreneurial activities based on information technology can be organized in the form of a research model in Iran's public organizations.
